Plastic Injection Molding Industry
A version of our burst tester has been developed to test injection molding nozzles for durability before they are installed in a machine. The customer can therefore avoid the costly downtime and added cost of replacing defective nozzles. Our system can test as many as twelve nozzles simultaneously, and the test is not very time consuming, so a single machine can test a large number of nozzles daily.
The specially designed pressure control system is used on gas assisted injection molding process to improve plastic molding quality and reduce consumption of the plastic material. During the plastic injection molding process, based on the pressure feedback from the pressure transducer installed near the gas outlet, the system controls the nozzle's output pressure to follow the pre-defined pressure profile.
